Pope Francis Appoints ‘Art Of Kissing’ Author As New Doctrine Watchdog

Archbishop Victor Fernandez of Argentina, author of the book ‘The Art of Kissing,’ has been appointed by Pope Francis to serve as Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, formerly known as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Archbishop Fernandez will now occupy one of the Vatican’s highest posts, which has the dual purpose of safeguarding Catholic doctrine and morality.
